This Christmas, we’re shining a spotlight on the local businesses, organisations, and individuals that contribute to the vibrant community of our town center.
The holiday season is crucial for many businesses, often playing a significant role in their success.
We invite you to show your support for our town centRE by filling out OUR PLEDGE form.
Your name will be featured on our website’s pledge wall, and we would also love for you to join us in our exciting Christmas parade on November 23rd.
CHRISTMAS MARKETS:
Hamilton Christmas Market is set to launch our holiday festivities on November 16th at the Regent Centre.
Be sure to save the date, as this year promises an exciting lineup! Not only will our fantastic arts and crafts market return, but we’ll also BE supporting the REGENT CENTRE’S OWN light switch-on and the brand new hamilton Comic Con TOO!

CHRISTMAS lights:
Get ready for the highlight of the year in our town centre! The much-anticipated HAMILTON TOWN CENTRE light switch-on event is back on Saturday, November 23rd, taking place on Hamilton's Quarry Street.
We've lined up an exciting day brimming with festive activities for everyone, featuring a delightful Christmas market, a lively town center parade, and the Hamilton Hero Awards. We can't wait to see you in Hamilton!
Event timings:
- 10AM Christmas market opens
- 11.30am entertainment starts
- 3pm Christmas parade from castle street
- 5.15pm hamilton hero awards
- 530pm Hamilton light switch on
Our stage running order will be announced

CHRISTMAS parade
Join us from 2.30pm on castle street hamilton for our annual christmas parade featuring the wonderful samba ya Bamba, brass eye, fire performers and santa!

WIZARD OF OZ...
Join Dorothy, her wee dug Toto and bonkers Aunty Sandra as they embark on an unexpected journey from HAMILTON to the land of Oz... via the yellow brick road of course!
Joining them are the brainless Scarecrow, the heartless Tin Man, and the cowardly Lion. With the help of ‘Goodie two shoes’ Glinda - can they defeat the crabbit auld Wicked Witch of the West and reach the Wizard in the Emerald City?

THE PANTO WILL take place within a vacant shop unit in the regent centre HAMILTON ON THE DAY OF OUR CHRISTMAS MARKET. Doors will open from 14:15, performance from 14:30 finishing around 15:30 on SATURDAY 7TH DECEMBER.

The Town House Hamilton. What’s on this Christmas?
About: The Town House is a Category "A" listed building of Edwardian Baroque Style. The building combines three linked structures individually constructed and separately opened in 1907 (Carnegie Library), 1914 (Town House) and 1928 (Town Hall). The Town House underwent a £9m refurbishment with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Scottish Arts Council, Historic Scotland.
The Town House re-opened as a multi purpose Arts Venue in 2004 and has facilities capable of hosting performances, weddings and social events, arts classes and courses, conferences and meetings as well as promoting varied arts and cultural events programme.
The Town House hosts a variety of performances, from West End productions, national companies through to local amateur groups.
